Obituary of Roseanna L. Spinosa

Roseanna L. Connolly Spinosa, age 89, of Trumbull passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Spinosa. Born in Jersey City, NJ, on March 7, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Henry John Connolly and Mae Agnes Grant Connolly. She had worked as an assistant buyer in the housewares department of the former D.M. Reads of Trumbull before her retirement with many years of dedicated service. She was a very active member of Christ the King Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and helped in the daily operations there. She was also proud to have been a volunteer at the Merton Center of Bridgeport for many years. She is survived by her brother, John Henry Connolly and his wife Lillian of Point Pleasant, NJ, her children, Michael Spinosa and his wife Sharon of Shelton and Dianne Clark and her husband William of Trumbull, five grandchildren, Michael Spinosa, Nicole Spinosa, Scott Clark and his wife Hope, Christopher Clark and Jocelyn Morey, three great grandchildren, Victoria and Samantha Morey and Nina Bella Clark, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Anthony, she was also predeceased by two sisters, Margaret Bott and Marie LaTour. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
