Obituary of Ralph Spinelli

Decorated Italian Army Veteran Ralph Spinelli, age 95, of Stratford, a retired laborer for local 665, died peacefully on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Maefair Health Care, Trumbull. Born in Faeto, Province of Foggia, Italy on February 27, 1912, he was a son of the late Pietro and Angela Maria Petitti Spinelli, and was a decorated WW II veteran of the Italian Army. Ralph was predeceased by his beloved wife, Angela Girardi Spinelli and son-in-law, Domenico Petitti. Survivors include his four children, a son, Pietro Spinelli of Stratford, three daughters, Giovina Petitti of Milford, Antoinetta Fazio and her husband, Natale of Stratford and Lillian Coppola and her husband, Giuseppe of Stratford, six grandchildren, Mario, Antoinette, Concetta and Ralph Petitti, Angela Wood and Vincent Coppola, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday April 17, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, Stratford.
