Obituary of Helen R. Spadolino

Resident of Stratford Helen R. Vitkovsky Spadolino, age 85, of Stratford, beloved wife of Joseph Spadolino, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on September 26, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Anna Prokop Vitkovsky. She had worked as a practical nurse at Carolton Nursing Home for over 20 years before her retirement. In addition to her beloved husband of over 50 years, survivors include her daughter, Carol Geffert and her husband, Charles of Seymour and son, Edward Swift and his wife Sharon of Milford, a sister, Theresa Parker of Trumbull, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by several brothers and sisters. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
