Obituary of Sebastian Scala

Owner & Operator of S. F. Scala & Sons Builders Sebastian (Sebe) Scala, age 62, of Stratford, the owner and operator of S. F. Scala & Son Builders, died on Thursday, February 24, 2005 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on June 11, 1942, he was a son of the late Anthony and Rose DeMasi Scala and a Stratford resident for over 25 years. He was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1960. Mr. Scala served as an usher at St. Marks Church, was a member of Union Local #210, and was a member of Civitan. He volunteered at several projects for the Town of Stratford and the Stratford Democratic Town Committee. Survivors include his beloved family, wife, Anna Capuano Scala, a son, Michael Scala and his fiancee, Judith DeBiase of Stratford, a daughter, Gina Santamauro and her husband, Val of West Haven, brothers and sisters, Frances Giovanelli and her husband, Jerry of Trumbull, his twin, Anthony Scala and his wife, Helen of Easton, Joseph Scala and his wife, Betty Marie of Arlington, Texas and Rose Marie McKeown and her husband, John of Fredericksburg, Virginia as well as several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. . Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 12:00 noon in St. Mark Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 p.m
