Obituary of Marion R. Ruggiero

Resident of Bridgeport Marion R. Ruggiero, age 88, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Ralph F. Ruggiero, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Born in Bridgeport on May 27, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Catherine Marino. A lifelong resident of Bridgeport and Trumbull, she was a retired employee of the University of Bridgeport. Marion was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. Survivors include two loving sons, Gary Ruggiero and his wife Celeste of Milford and Ralph T. Ruggiero of Bridgeport, four cherished grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Marino and two sisters, Alice Marino and Catherine Lown. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Margarets Shrine, 2539 Park Ave., Bridgeport on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton. There will be no calling hours.
