Obituary of Rose Gadikian

Resident of Milford Rose Gadikian, age 80, of Milford, a retired Milford city employee, died on Sunday, September 30, 2007 in The Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield. Born in New York, New York on March 6, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Lazarus and Armenouhe Karagosian Gadikian. Ms. Gadikian was a graduate of Harding High School and was a longtime resident of Milford. She was a member of the Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension of Trumbull and the Armenian Relief Society. Prior to her retirement she worked in the Milford Town Clerks office and was a travel agent for many years in both Milford and Stratford. Survivors include a loving niece, Linda Cartiglia and her husband Carmen of Easton; a great nephew and godson C.J. Cartiglia of Miami; two great nieces Susan Cartiglia of Hollywood, CA and Gabriella Cartiglia of Easton. She was predeceased by her sister and best friend Roxy Terzian. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 3, at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in The Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. A wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Fr. Untzag Nalbandian, Pastor of The Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension.
