Obituary of Ida J. Piazza

Fairfield Resident Ida J. Piazza, age 97, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Frank Piazza, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Cambridge Manor in Fairfield. Born in Bridgeport on October 27, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Mary Cocivi Pietrantonio. A retired assembler for Dictaphone Corp., Ida was an avid knitter who enjoyed needlework. Survivors include her loving sisters, Adeline Cataldo of Fairfield and Rose Napoli and her husband Charles of Southbury as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Isabell Faris and her husband Nicholas Faris. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
