Obituary of Betty Peluso

Bridgeport Resident Peluso Betty Rea Peluso, age 83, of Bridgeport, a former nurses aide for Hill Side Home, died on Saturday, August 18, 2007 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Dominic and Josephine Fanone Rea. During her high school years, she worked at General Electric and Remington Arms in support of the war effort. She was a member of the Warren Harding High School Class of 1943. Mrs Peluso was a devoted animal lover, and took special care of strays and animals in need. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph P. Peluso, a grandson, Michael Peluso, two brothers, Patsy and Anthony Rea and a sister, Alice Rea. Survivors include her loving children, Gerald Peluso and his wife Linda, Don Peluso and his wife Ruth, Patrick Peluso and his wife Cynthia, Michael Peluso and his wife Gaelen, Joanne Barnes and her husband Robert, Elizabeth Ruiz and her husband Carlos, Jenny Ballester and her husband Douglas, two brothers, Alfred Rea and Benny Rea and his wife Millie, a sister, Angela Paul, sister-in-law, Annette Peluso, 14 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
