Obituary of Maryanne J. Pelligra

Bridgeport Resident Maryanne J. Pelligra, age 88, of Bridgeport, beloved wife to the late Ralph J. Pelligra, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 9, 2009. Born in Bridgeport on June 1, 1920 she was the daughter of the late John and Sally Criscione. A true "Mother" in every sense of the word, she dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She will always be remembered for her devotion to the Blessed Mother and for finding a place in her heart with unconditional love for all who entered into her life. Left to carry on her legacy are her two loving daughters, Teresa Van Dam and her husband Paul of Stratford and Regina Maloney and her husband James Stuart of Bridgeport, four cherished grandchildren Keith Halkovic and his fiance Nicole Distassio, Jaclyn Halkovic, Lauren and Brett Van Dam, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Connecticut Hospice Home Care, and especially her care giver, Sevenjee Inchuman. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
