Obituary of Grace A. Pedersen

Grace Ando Pedersen, age 86, of Monroe, beloved wife of the late Raymond Arnold Pedersen entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 in Fairfield. She was born on July 27, 1918 in Bridgeport to the late Joseph and Ethel Ando. Grace was a retired Licensed Practical nurse who served many years at Bridgeport Hospital, and several nursing homes, including 15 years at the Jewish Home for the Elderly. Grace was a nursing assistant for several private physicians in Fairfield County. She was President of the Hallen School PTA, President of the Bridgeport LPN Association, Chairman for Mothers March on Polio, President of Trumbull Area AARP, and the Maine 55 Plus Club. Grace was a life long member of the Brooklawn Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bridgeport.

Survivors include her beloved family, a brother, Aladar Ando and his wife, Joanne of California; two sons, Arnold Pedersen and his wife, Linda of Trumbull and Norman Pedersen and his wife, Judith of Maine; six grandchildren, Darren Pedersen and his wife, Alisa of California, Derek Pedersen and his wife, Kristen of California, James Pedersen of Maine, Mark Pedersen and his wife, Wendy of Massachusetts, Seri Pasmeg and her husband Phillip, of Fairfield and Nichole Langdon of Tennessee; three great-grandchildren, Cody Ellen and Lars Pedersen of Massachusetts and Phillip Pasmeg, of Fairfield and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Ando. 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the Brooklawn Seventh Day Adventist Church, 250 Brooklawn Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends and family may call Sunday, March 20 from 3:00 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
