Obituary of Domenico Paniccia

Former Wolcott Resident Domenico Paniccia, age 62, of Preston Hollow, New York and formerly of Wolcott, CT, died suddenly on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at his home. Born in Torrice, Province of Frosinone, Italy on April 22, 1946, he was a son of the late Santino Paniccia and Ida Fiori Paniccia Recine. Domenico was the retired owner and operator of Wolcott Construction and was also a member of the Local 665. Survivors include his former wife of 36 years, Lina Paniccia of North Port, Florida, three devoted daughters, Anna Paniccia of North Port, Florida, Filomena Coviello and her husband William of Venice, Florida and Sonia LeFrancois and her husband Gary of Wolcott, CT, three cherished granddaughters, Jessica, Amanda and Nicole, a brother, Vincenzo Paniccia and his wife Alice of Coral Springs, Florida, four aunts, Marietta Roma and her husband Angelo of Endicott, NY, Nanina Roma, Angela Incitti and Antonia Paniccia, all of Italy, an uncle, Antonio Fiori of Italy and several nieces, nephews and godchildren. He is also survived by many relatives in Italy, South America and the U.S. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
