Obituary of Joseph G. Pacelli

Joseph G. Pacelli, Sr., age 85 of Boynton Beach, Florida, formerly of Stamford, CT died on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at St. Vincents Hospital after a short illness. He had been visiting his son in Trumbull at the time of his illness. He will be greatly missed by his entire family. Born in Stamford, CT on November 6, 1919 he was the son of Libro and Asunta Vitale Pacelli. Joe was retired from the U.S. Postal Service working in Stamford for many years. He served in the U.S. Army Tank Batallion during World War II.

He is survived by his wife Adeline Corrente Pacelli, two sons, Joseph Jr. and his wife Diane of Boca Raton, Florida and Richard and his wife Barbara of Trumbull. In addition, he leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, Antoinette, Christine and Susan Pacelli, all of Danbury. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Michael and Frank Pacelli. 

A memorial service will be held at St. Jude's Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 29th.
