Obituary of Antoinette T. Nicholson

Loving and Devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Antoinette Golino Nicholson, age 95, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Hilton Nicholson, passed away peacefully on Friday December 14, 2012. Born in Derby on January 17, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Philip Golino and Grace Rossi Golino. Mrs. Nicholson was a retired employee of Sacred Heart University. Along with her son Joe she was very active in many area Drum and Bugle Corps, serving as chaperone for the St. Raphael Golden Buccaneers and the Marionettes. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She cared very deeply for and was devoted to the love and care of her family. She will be deeply missed. Survivors include her loving and devoted son, Joseph Nicholson and his wife Joann of Bridgeport, three cherished grandchildren, Todd Nicholson, Kelly Benevides and her husband Richard and Kristopher Nicholson and his wife Erin, six adored great grandchildren, Todd Jr., Taylor, Madison, Tyler, Aiden and Lucas as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
