Obituary of Gabriel Nappi

U.S Army WWII Veteren NAPPI -Gabriel Nappi, age 91, of Stratford , beloved husband of the late Mary Gallucci Nappi, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2011 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born in Bridgeport on December 15, 1919, he was one of nine children. He leaves three sisters and was predeceased by five brothers and sisters. Mr. Nappi was a U.S Army veteran of WWII. Before his retirement he was a truck driver for the former Milford Concrete Co. and later worked for with his son at Carbon County Chrome in Milford. He is survived by a daughter, Tina Dragone and her husband Emanuel; a son, Gabriel A. Nappi; a grandson, Alex Dragone; a brother in law and sister in law, Audrey and Ben Gallucci; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
