Obituary of Shirley J. Nangle

Resident of Huntington Shirley J. Basile Nangle, age 82, of Huntington, beloved wife of the late John C. Nangle, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Fair Haven, CT on April 27, 1929, she was a daughter of the late John and Rose Pascal Basile. A devoted, beloved and adored mother, Shirley was a very loving and caring person who had an energetic spirit and a zest for life. She was always there to lend a helping hand, putting the needs of others before her own. She will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her. Survivors include a son John C. Nangle, Jr. and his wife Eleni Kantzas of Milford, a daughter, Melissa D. Nangle of Stratford, a sister Geraldine A. Ratkevitch of Shelton as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Florence M. Howard and a brother Thomas J. Basile. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Lawn Cemetery, Shelton. Friends may call on FRIDAY morning from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
