Obituary of Edith Rich Franzi

Edith Rich Franzi, age 87, of Bridgeport, a home maker, died Tuesday, August 17, 2004 in the Jewish Home for the Elderly, Fairfield. Born in Bridgeport on March 2, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Rose Rich. Mrs. Franzi was pre-deceased by her husband, Vincent J. (Chick) Franzi, a son, Ralph Frascatore, two sisters, Grace and Mamie and five brothers, Aggie, Robert, Leonard, John and Joseph. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Stella Frascatore of Trumbull, a brother, Edward Rich of Florida, a sister, Genevieve Lankowski of Stratford, six grandchildren, Lisa Cellini and her husband, Gene, Ralph Frascatore and his wife, Laurie, Leonard Frascatore, Dennis Frascatore and his wife, Diane, Marc Frascatore and his wife, Jennifer and Michele Maleri and her husband, Glen, eleven great grandchildren, Matthew, Gene and Alyssa Cellini, Anthony, Jenna, Joey, Sara, Nicole and Christopher Frascatore and Carley and Marc Maleri as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 8:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
