Obituary of Eleanor Charlotte Moncovich

Loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother Eleanor Charlotte (El) Gould Moncovich, age 73, of Stratford, beloved wife of Albert Moncovich Sr., died on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Stratford, she was a daughter of the late John Gould Sr. and Helen Krzynowek Gould, and was a member of the Central High School Class of 1951. She was a retired supervisor for the State of CT Department of Mental Retardation. Mrs Moncovich was a member of the Moose Club and a former member of the Miamogue Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary. El truly enjoyed time spent with her family and will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by a brother, John Gould Jr. In addition to her husband Albert of 53 years, survivors include her four children, Sharon Riccio and her husband James, Albert Moncovich Jr. and his wife Gail, Janice Moncovich and Anthony J. Moncovich, four grandchildren, James K. Murphy, Angela S. Murphy and Justin A. Murphy and John T. Riccio, three great grandchildren, Kevin Shalomis, Julia Vaz and Riley Murphy, a brother, Robert Gould and his wife Sharon, a sister, Charlene Covelesky and her husband Trigger, her beloved stepmother, Lucy Gould. She was the aunt of Patrica Gould, Heather Carson, TJ (Francis) Covelesky, Christian Covelesky, Stacey Petrillo, Debbie Perez and several additional nieces and nephews and the dear friend of Annie Hoeller and Terry Collins. She will be missed by her devoted companions Chappy, Holly, Chelsea and Mavrick. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. for the celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
