Obituary of Nora Jean Hobson-Lang

Nora Jean Hobson-Lang, age 70, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Matthew Lang, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2026 with her husband by her side. Born in Bridgeport on December 16, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Rossi) Hobson.

Survivors include her loving husband of 32 Years, Matthew Lang and her beloved canine companion Grace, as well as many other family members and dear friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. directly in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Rd., Trumbull, Section 2. A Celebration of Nora Jean’s life will follow at 11:00 a.m. in Black Rock Congregational Church, 3685 Black Rock Tpke, Fairfield. At Nora Jean’s request, there will be no calling hours.
