To the Olin Family:
On behalf of the SRTC. our prayers and sympathies go out to each of you. Ken loved and spoke of his family often. He was a person of action who took great pride in his community with a gusto that made him stand out amongst others.
It was a privilege to know him, serve with him on the SRTC and the Shelton BoA but more importantly to learn from him. He had an easy way of showing you the ropes so you would not get tangled in them later.
He was a major league catcher who never gave up the plate to runner and but in life he gave selflessly to others.
He will be missed by many for his courageous and dedication to all.
Anthony F. Simonetti, Chair
Shelton Republican Town Comm.

So very sorry to hear the news of Ken's passing. I first met Ken in the early 1970's at SAC when I was hired as a QA Inspector, and he was working as a supervisor in Blade Operations. I was impressed with his positive attitude and willingness to share his knowledge of the operation. He made me feel welcome, and I often went to him for advice as I learned the process. Ken always had a smile on his face and was always willing to talk baseball. Over time we developed a friendship. In later years I enjoyed discussions with Ken at various SAC retiree functions. My condolences go out to his wife Arlene and the entire Olin family.
You will be missed Ken, RIP.........

Arlene and Keith
I was so sad to hear of Kens passing . He was a wonderful person who always seemed to have a smile on his face a good word to say about everything. The years he and I spent coaching Keith and Eric were just wonderful . I got to know him not only as Eric’s coach but as a person who was kind and gentle . Always upbeat . He will be deeply missed
My condolences to all of your family

My condolences to the family on Ken's passing. Ken was my boss for quite a number of years at Sikorsky. He was a great leader who always treated everyone the same. God Bless, rest peacefully.
